Have you watched a lot of horror, or are you a budding fan? Are you a big slasher fan? Take a look at the HDC Top 100 for an idea of what people around here like (Scream is on the list.)

I love any kind of Horror, but i find some movies just go way over the top and do some really really stupid stuff....when a horror movie goes to far i tend to get either really bored or i sit there and think "as if that could happen"

take "The Hills Have Eyes" (no offence to anyone who likes this movie) but i would burn that movie right down to its last roll of film....its one of those movies where i cant get into it because its too far fetched! and because it scares the hell out of me...(dont read on if you dont wan to know what happens in the movie eg...SPOILER ALERT) they did not need to put the mutant raping the sister...i was nearly sick because of that! i hate that movie with passion...but if anyone out there likes it thats fine...each to their own...just trying to put my point across...movies like this are aiming for the gross and disturbed factor (such as Saw II and Hostel) their not giving us a scare for the sake of a scare, their trying to scar us for life....

thats the thing i hate about some horror movies. give me a nice, normal serial killer who uses a butchers knife any day :cool:

ive always dreamed about becoming a horror film maker....writing a horror script and then having it made into a really good movie...it doesnt even have to go to theatres, i would be satisfied with straight to dvd. thats where all the best horror movies are.
