but really - a label is just a thing people use to express the way they are thinking.
a label isnt always negative ... and when it isnt - people dont mind them so much.
the real problem isnt the label - its thought process that causes the label.
i still think it works both ways though .. and this discussion is as old as the hills ... if you wear the uniform of a cop, and act like a cop, and only hang around with cops - and call yourself a cop .. its fair to be labeled a cop.
calling someone a slut is a different thing altogether - its a judgement call made by someone based on their private and very subjective moral standards.
if someone dresses a certain way - i would think they may be dressing provocatively, that doesnt make them a slut by my definition.
if someone sleeps with a lot of different partners - everyone is unnatached, no expectations are made - no one gets hurt .. thats just a person who likes sex.. sometimes with different partners .. i dont think thats being a slut.
a girl is at a party who looks nice enough that the hubbies are all taken with her ... doesnt make her a slut .... because the rest of the room is filled with bitter old dumptrucks that used a baby or two as an excuse to go to hell in a handbag.
