The thread title made me think of awful goth poetry. Anyway, if it really bothers you that much, ditch your friends. They may be few and far between, but there are plenty of decent people in this world. They just tend to get overshadowed by the assholes. As for myself, I never make fun of someone's physical appearance... UNLESS they've demonstrated a personality to match. Once someone has been a jerk to you, they're fair game, if you ask me.
