I wouldn't use nylon, and NEVER hemp (mostly because of the prickly fibers) because of the friction/blisters (that's bad pain, not 'good' pain)...Leather restraints are pretty good as long as they are soft (stiff leather causes blisters, too)...Chains with leather cuffs are strong and last longer, depending on how much the submissive (person tied up) struggles...One of my leather restraints snapped (it had the silver rings inside it, that made it less strong), so now I have flannel belts tied to all four posts of my bed...Those are strong AND soft, and I haven't seen any sign that they're weakening AT ALL.
A lot of spiked gear can be used for more than just a 'fashion statement'...Keep that in mind...Also, bondage collars with a chain attached can be very useful for when the dom is behind the sub...Choking (especially with your bare hands) is amazingly awesome if done correctly...Pain during sex alerts and heightens ALL of the senses (it's the primal 'flight or fight' instinct that kicks in) during sex...Heartrate, blood pressure, adrenalin, everything is at its peak, it allows you to lose yourself to your 'inner animal'...Your sense of touch/feel is greatly heightened, too...Basically, the entire experience is FAR more intense.
Biting and scratching are a given...
Anything that results in growling, gasping and/or screaming is pretty good, too.
Only YOU can know exactly what you need...But, seriously, if she's willing to try it, I recommend playing with the choking thing...
And consider that 'russian lighthouse' (Baby oil is amazing in this department)thing, too...It's not just for YOU, the girl can also get a lot from it, too (the domination/role reversal thing)...And, of course, that can lead to experimentation with 'other' things...If you are comfortable with it, keep taking it further...If you like it, you'll really be glad that you did.
For more intensity, try some extremes like hot and cold...Candle wax, ice cubes...There are so many things you can play with that are pleasantly painful...Ask her if she can handle alcohol (the rubbing kind, not the drinking kind), that stings a LOT, produces heat, and dries out the area for more 'painful' friction in the right places...It's pretty nice.
Clamps...Things that squeeze, or pull/spread...Can be very useful, too...When skin is stetched apart until it feels like it's going to rip, that produces a very nice painful sting, too.
Oh, back to the friction thing..Not ALL friction is bad...Some friction to the wrists and ankles kinda 'reminds you' that you're tied up, which is fun...And friction in other places is very nice...I prefer for some areas to be sore, swollen or tender (the stinging is VERY stimulating), but not everyone is the same. If I 'hurt' 3 days later, it's been done correctly, and it's a nice reminder of the experience, that can make you smile at times when no one knows why you're smiling :)
All you really have to do is consider what you're into, what 'does it' for you, and take it as far as you safely can...Personally, I have a pretty severe 'consumption/possesion fetish'...I would completely DEVOUR someone if I could (like the scene in May, when the guy plays the film he made...JUST like that)...But, for obvious reasons, I can't, so I get as close to it as I possibly can...Know your boundaries/limitations and take it to the edge
I can't really get into a lot of detail here on the forum...This is probably about as far as I can safely go...But, there are things that will kinda 'come to you' as you're getting into it
If this is TOO much (for anyone who reads this) let me know and I'll remove it...I DID try to keep it as clinical and 'PC' as possible...
