I think the three of you, Rayne, Zwoti, and Kpro, kick some ass as mods. Lala posted a very interesting thread earlier about adding an aditional moderator. She made excellent points in her case. However, another moderator is a lot more government at this point, especially if Austin returns.

If you're going to do ANY type of awards, it should be based on the BEST, not the FAVORITE...

I am aware that everyone likes some people better here than others, but do we really need to point that out?

Awards are supposed to be given in recognition of something done well...The problem with MOST awards ceremonies (I don't remember the names of all of them, but they are apparently taken very seriously in their various industries), is that too many people rely on popularity, and those who truly work hard don't receive the accolades they deserve just because they didn't kiss ass hard enough...I think musicians suffer from this the most...Ever been to a 'Best Of The Bands' competition? The band who can get the most fans to show up, wins...That's bullshit...It SHOULD be based on who performs the best, don't ya think?...It's just unfair, and that's why it bothers me...
