Honestly?
I'm pretty certain it was between the ages of nine and ten that I first noticed long fine stringy hairs on my ballsack. I don't think I had any kind of weirded out reaction, didn't bother asking my mother or her bf about it, at risk of simply THAT making it more towards a traumatic experience...it was hair...I just thought "hmmm...", and er, I think I ripped 'em out a couple times, and then left 'em be...within a year later, I got the "bridge" goin' on, and yeah things just got more dense over time from there on out.
Sometimes I trim it like a bonsai...there's less tangle-age that way...aint nothing more annoying than having a pube from the bridge somehow attatch itself to one on the side of your balls, then play tug of war while you're walking until one or both of them get ripped out. So yeah...general maintenance here and there.
