Myspace is AWESOME
For promoting independent film and music, MySpace has no equal. Before MySpace, there was no real way to connect to THOUSANDS of potential viewers. So, from a marketing standpoint, MySpace is a tremendous boon to all independent artists.
I've only used it sparingly for dating and finding long lost friends.
