Congratulations to the six of you! Now, the panel of judges will be narrowing down a list of over 200 movies that you've sent me into a list of Hidden Gems. now - the judges should get together and see if we can all get on the same page as to what we consider a 'jem' and 'unknown'
i know for a fact that there will be unknown turds, well known jems, as well as the criteria we're actually looking for in the list ..
personally - one of the main qualifiers for an unknown jem is : it should be a suprise that it is unknown.
if it is pretty damn obvious why the movie is unheard of - it can hardly be considered a jem..
