Yeah, I love breasts - they're fun, but their purpose is to nurture and, as such, are a symbol of motherhood and fertility - nothing to be considered dirty.
The reason men (and women) find this attractive (along with curvy hips and a kind nature) is hard wired into our reptilian brain. It's about findig a good mate for the propogation of the species.
The same reason women (and men) look for a lean, muscularar physique in a man - a good hunter/provider. Yes, we've grown beyond these roles as a species, but the desire in us rather heavily programmed - and reinforced by the media.

Yes, so let's keep them covered sometimes, don't lose the mystery. As far as stereotypes being reinforced by the media... not with you %100 percent there. Paris Hilton and woman like her are toted as beautiful and desirable constantly but look as if they couldn't survive giving birth.
