Bad horror/kids comedy truely sucks. One of the things thats killed the funding and credibility (mainstream critics/movie goer$ anyways) of the genre.
Invaders From Mars..... Night Of The Creeps (The '86 killer sci-fi reinvention along with the Fly), Gremlins, Beetlejuice....... totally fucking killer.
Bad Taste and Braindead were two flicks I loved when they first came out. Now I hate them because the NZ industry only funds clones of this splatter/com fests...... (especially after Dead Shaun's cricket bat let's cross The Office with some whack Ben Elton meets George Romero rampage).
If you've seen the Ugly, Bad Blood, Utu or the Scarecrow you'll see the pissed away potential of landscape and intense cinema pissed away for laughs and $uck$.
