Thanks!:) Sadie's a happy dog. She's always smiling like that. She's very affectionate. Sophie seems to be just like her. You know, you just don't get the same quality of pet in a purebred. Mix breeds are much more congenial, however, Sophie is as sweet as sugar and playful too (o' course there is some speculation as to whether or not she's a purebred schnauzer or a schnoodle- part schnauzer and part poodle).
I can't have children, so I
am actually going to get one purebred dog- a Rottweiler. I want to do something for at least one member of that breed, and that is to give him a great home with love and discipline (gentle but firm). I want him to have a good life and not end up at the pound or on the streets. Most importantly I want him to be want the Goddess intended all Rottweilers to be, a dog, not a trophy, not a killer, but a dog that runs and plays, chews on bones and old shoes, slobbers, and waggs his nubby little tail like there's no tomorrow.
