one of the reasons I didn't like Jason X is the same reason I don't like most movies: I felt like the money spent on it could have gone to a better film. I love cheese. I own numerous terrible movies, which I love. however, most of those movies were terrible because they (almost) didn't have a choice. granted, some fantastic flicks have been made with little, or no, money (Halloween, Texas Chainsaw, etc.), but I always wonder what some movies (or certain filmmakers) could have done with a bigger budget.

I know this is kinda like arguing about what Elvis or Jimi Hendrix would be doing if they were still alive (as in, it's completely pointless), but to me it's a valid reason for disliking a movie.

I don't know, sometimes I think more money can ruin a film. Sometimes having to be creative because you lack money prevents lame, overpriced CGI and overpaid, overexposed actors.
