I just noticed my typo in the title of the thread... haha, how appropriate, eh?
I sdat through the credits, got a beer, peed, took a shower, then fired up the beginning on hard. I LOVE this game.
It's interesting, FEAR isnt the unending visceral "HOLY FUCK, IM GONNA DIE!!!" that Doom3 was, but ended up being more scary overall. it think iit was the suspense and that they didnt just hammer you with horror the whole time, so they really made i twork when it was there. the damn flashbacks were incredible.
I was amazed at the part where you kill fettel. i finally got close, and was like "Screw this, Im just gonna pop this asshole." and shot him in the face, then he died.... I kinda went "Oh.. Hmm. Well... that didnt go as expected..."
Kinda tragic that the chick he had hostage was killed, but i did enjoy offing the catatonic clones..
