Thats my theory for approaching this remake...Would Sid Haig be able to give a performance as good as Donald Pleasence? Not a chance.
Would he be able to put a totally different twist on the character? Personally, I think so.
I really hope Zombie decides to take this in some radically new direction...there is no way in Hell that he can re-create the original, so Im hoping to see something new and different. As horrible as it
