It's so nice to find a few fans of this movie here!
Part of the charm of this for me is that the two heroes are basically jerks...but become nicer, more helpful people as the situation progresses. It puts a smile on my face.
I always thought it had a strange warm-hearted quality that made it cozy viewing, and a good choice for a spooky October evening.
