i guess i'm a satanist by definition ..
but i prefer humanist.
as soon as you give it some kind of title it becomes something bigger than what it really is. and subject to interpretation.
i wouldnt go around calling myself a satanist because i dont believe in the presence of a higher power and i know i ultimately control my own destiny.
by the way :
A TRUE Satanist believes that HE alone has the power to make his life what it is, good or bad...That only HE has the power to cause change in his life by his own actions.............., and takes responsibility for his own actions...A Satanist never says "Please God, help me"...Or..."The devil made me do it"...Get what I'm saying?
that is also what a true christian believes.
