I think most people would consider 'here' as a noun to mean 'on earth' in this case, rather than as an adverb pointing to a specific location on the planet (which is straightforward physics).

It isn't particularly philosophical to understand we were born here, or to trace ape/sea-creature ancestors back as far as you like.

The question of why/how life as we know it formed here in the first place is answered by the positioning of the earth in the universe - what caused the initial spark of growth/sentience remains undecided as of yet.
