they arent anything alike in the least other that the fact that a female has a male prisoner.
each movie was paced differently - the motives of the females were completely different. they handled their issues differently.
the style of direction/acting/ etc was completely different.
its like saying platoon reminded you of goodfellas because someone shot a guy in each film
