I've never seen Re-Animator and in recent months it has been driving me crazy. Late spring/early summer I was going around to all the video stores in my area and no one had it (or any Stuart Gordon movie for that matter). Later I read on Re-animator's IMDB.com forum that it was pulled from stores around late June/early July.
At Amazon.com you can find private sellers gouging people. I visited the website of the distributors of the Millennium edition DVD (
www.elitedisc.com) and emailed them weeks ago asking what was going on and if it would be released in the future, and am still waiting for a response. It looked like they were still selling the Millennium edition from their site ("looked like" at least), but they only ship within the states, while I'm in Canada.
Does anyone know more about what's going on with the movie? Why was it pulled? Will it be released again soon?
(seems my only hope now are those Netflix-type people)
