If the filmmakers intending to remake Pet Sematary follow the novel closely, it could honestly be better than the original. There were several key moments left out -- Gage's encounter with Jud, eloborating upon the story of a human being buried at the indian site. These, among others differences which may subtle on their own, but added together could provide the atmosphere King's novel held.
