I know this is a TV show, but i decided to exercise my "Really Huge post count" privledges and put it wherever the hell I want :)

Anyone out there an Invader Zim fan? A guy worked with at my last job was a huge fan and got me into it. I guess it only lasted a season or two on nickelodean. It was along the line sof ren and stimpy as far as not really being all that appropriate for children, but it was a riot. It was surprisingly sophisticated; i bet most of the jokes were over the heads of most of the target audience (probably why it was cancelled).

It still shows on late night on nicktoons network, and 9 am on sat and sun.

basically (for those who dont know), Zim is an Irken, and alien race that lives to take over other worlds. They are rule dby the Tallest, basically, 2 guys that are the tallest ogf their species, so they are incharge. Zim is short. Not to mention stupid. He isnt even a real invader. he doesnt know this, but he was dispatched to earth because he is a screw up and they were hoping he would get killed. Invaders usually have a robot helper. Zim got Gir, who is functionally retarded, but cute as hell.

Zim pretends to be a school kid to take over the world. His nemsis is Dib, a kid who knows Zim is an alien, but is unable to convince anyone else that he is. In the show, people are STUPID. the whole thing is very dark and nihilistic, which of course, is funny.
