The next time you're getting movies, pick up Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and if you like it, get Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. I think you'd probably like them. B&TEA is about two goofy ass teenagers that get a visit from George Carlin, who has a time traveling phone booth to help them do their history report so they can grow up and start a band that will save the world.
