I strongly recommend these: WILD ZERO and BELOW.

WILD ZERO will please the lover of zany movies, it features gore, music, retro and punk mentalities, and a Monty Python sort of sense of comedic absurdity. You'll probably hit a bunch of bases with that one.

BELOW will probably satisfy the refined horror fan who likes story-conscious thrillers, it is a top-notch 10 out of 10 ghost movie with great special effects. In my opinion it's better than ALL the ghost movies released in the last 10 years or so. Tight, sharp, busy, scary, well written and acted.

People are all different of course, as your description of your party guests seems to demonstrate, so it's not likely that ONE movie will please all your guests. But a couple of movies carefully chosen might make 'em all smile eventually.
