Blockbuster's set up is pretty good imo. The rental period is 7 days then another 7 day grace period, then after the 2 weeks you can either bring it back or buy it for full price minus the rental price you already paid. So you can rent something that you're not too sure about then if you like it keep it or if it's the piece of crap you suspected it might be, bring it back.
