Keep licking your lips people. This was the premise at the fall of 2005, when Ridley Scott really showed interest in doing Alien 5. "I'd love to - and we're talking", he said. When asked if it would star the originals, he replied "Sigourney's on-board, and I am hoping Lance Henriksen might be interested too. But the bottom line is its too early to even speculate...we (him and Cameron) haven't even finished the script yet."
But as I stated above, it wont be happening...at least not anytime soon from either Cameron or Scott. Cameron has said "NO" in capital letters to all who have queried from him since March 2006, and Scott has also reportedly lost interest in the 5th part of the franchise, for the simple and obvious reason that Fox-Universal have given the go-ahead to Alien vs Predator 2.
crossovers...crossovers...the movies have become storylines from comics these days...I wonder if Fox & Universal are being run by a Dark Horse comics editor now...
Whats next? Superman vs Aliens...Batman vs Predator...X-Men vs Jason Voorhees? tsk tsk...
