The New Millenium of Horror Tournament

Well now that we've decided and crowned George Romero as the Best Horror Director, it is time for the next great tournament courtesy of bwind22.

It's been said on numerous occasions that there aren't any good horror films coming out these days. Is that true? Well, we're going to put it to the test. By the end of the tournament, I think we should all end up with a pretty good idea of whether or not that's true because let's face it, if House of the Dead ends up winning, our genre's fucked. But maybe there's hope... There's only one way to know for sure....

This tournament contains all horror movies (as defined on imdb) released from 2000 to right now that have at least 1000 user votes. (I had to pic a couple that didnt have 1000 to fill the tourney, but for the most part that's the criteria.)

Because the tournament is quite large (192 movies) Round 1 matches will all contain 3 films doing battle in an attempt to advance to the final 64. The first film to 5 votes will win but if I am not online to declare the match over then people can keep voting. Same as always...

Round 1 - Match 1

Dog Soldiers

Versus

Riding the Bullet

First one to 5 wins.
