For me it really isn't 'brand loyalty'...It's just that some things work better than others...
Crest seems to get my teeth the cleanest, and Listerine seems to 'last longer', which makes me think it really does kill more germs...
No other bread tastes like Butternut...When you get used to some things, you can really tell the difference with others
Lysol Kitchen Cleaner ends up being cheaper because it cuts grease immediately, cleans the best, and therefore you use less of it, and it takes much less time to clean the kitchen
Comet is cheap and cleans the tub better and easier than anything else I've tried
And I don't have a clue how anyone with kids can get their clothes clean without Tide with Bleach, it also makes the whites whiter...
As for the baby stuff: ALL of my kids were allergic to Pampers, And everything else leaks, except Huggies...So, that's our preference...Huggies wipes are thicker than others, clean better, so you use less, save money.....Baby Food: Gerber always used fillers (predominantly tapioca), to stretch their product and make a bigger profit for themselves...Until, people started complaining...They don't do it anymore (that I know of), but the fact that they DID do it for about 20 years, is enough to make me not trust them, and I have also noticed that they use a lot more water ("for processing"), than ANY other baby food brand, their baby foods are not nearly as 'thick' as others...Beechnut NEVER used fillers, or added salt or sugar...So, all 3 kids got Beechnut
Trust me...I've been around long enough to try EVERYTHING...And, I know what works and what doesn't...At least for us
