Eh, I don't have any personal stories for myself.
My family also is very religious and didn't "believe" in playing it because they said it opens a "portal" or something.
So, I took it out to play it. Of course. Nothing happened. I was kinda diappointed. It just sat there.
But I guess according to my mom, her and her friends along with my aunt were playing it years ago, and while they were playing with it, i guess supposedly the table lifted and flung itself against the wall, so they ran out and left the mess there and never played it again.
My mom's..just..yeah...she's a bit odd.
