If you go to a game store you'll be able to find cheap, used games.

Those are the ones I'm familiar with, I believe the first three mentioned have Canadian franchises. Obviously I have no idea how close they'd be to you but there's gotta be some place similar in your area.
You can also trade in your games when you're done with 'em, you don't usually get much unless it's fairly new but you're finished with it and it's gonna shave a few bucks off your next purchase, so why not.
