I'm actually excited to re-visit this movie too, if on the small screen.

I will say, though, that it will be more of a. . .second chance kind of thing. To be honest, I didn't really LOVE Peter Jackson's wet dream version of KING KONG. I have a lot of mixed feelings about it:

1. The islanders. . .I mean. . .I was a little offended there.

2. I would almost say. . .the look was a little TOO cosmetic--I mean everything just kind of glowed and sparkled and was perfect, and that kind of turned me off.

3. The dinosaurs. . .are you kidding? Like. . .they seemed to light and weightless--they may look better (for the most part) than Spielberg's JURASSIC PARK dinos, but they CERTAINLY don't have the great chiaroscuro and MASSIVE weight and presence of those in JP.

I just didn't love it, but I DO want to give it another chance and see if I missed something.

A WILL say (put down your weapons) that his LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy hardly EVER falted, and did so only ever did so slightly.
