I'm going to break my moratorium on the General forum just to respond to this... Why is that people automatically equate Satanism with "evil?" People seem to cling to an outmoded concept of medieval "devil worship" (which doesn't actually exist, by the way) without bothering to learn what Satanism truly is. I'd be willing to bet that more than a few of you reading this currently live by Satanic principles, you just don't know it yet. Check out the official Church of Satan website if you want to learn about the real deal.
Note: I'm not a member, and I never have been. I can get behind their beliefs, but for one thing, the ritual aspect loses me, and I've just never been the joining-in type.
