Flight of the Phoenix [2004]

From a big budget Hollywood film, there are a couple thing that you can expect: Half-decent actors and good basic CGI. Despite being a big-budget Hollywood film, this had neither. The view from the cockpit looked about as realistic as the driving in old sit-coms does. Dennis Quaid usually gives an OK performance, but mostly due to the awful script he is pretty bad in this one. Really, I think the script was the biggest downfall of the whole movie. The characters had no depth whatsoever, most of the lines was awful, and it even made actors that are typically very good look very, very bad, EX- David Quaid and Hugh Laurie. The only somewhat well written character was one of the least likable characters I've seen in a very long while. The action moves way to fast, there is no time what-so-ever for anything to develop. Plot items are introduced, then forgot about entirely. This movies doesn't even work as a mindless time-killer, I don't recommend it in the least. After seeing this, I'm more worried than ever about The Omen remake. They are directed by the same person...all I can say is be afraid. Be very afraid...

3.5/10

EDIT- Added a couple lines + Typos
