Okay, this is killing me. Many years ago I saw this movie and it scared the holy hell out of me. I cannot remember its name and am passionately seeking it to see if it's still scarey or not. I'd appreciate any help please.
-I saw it back in the early 80's so it was from around that time frame.
-It involved little troll things who inhabited this house. It was not Gremlins or the Troll movies. They were small creatures with cloaks on and they hated light. The wife knew about them and they could talk in a whipsered tone. I think they had little fork things as weapons.
-I remember one scene in which the family was having dinner and one of these troll guys was under the table and kept pulling on the wife's napkin. She saw it and screamed.
-Another scene was involved this grounds keeper guy who also knew about the cretaures. He went into the basement and they shut the door behind him freaking him out. They accused him of telling people about him and threatened to kill him.
-at the movies end, the creatures were dragging the wife through the house to a hidden room somewhere in the house.

I know that's not exactly much to go on but I'd appreciate any help in this area. I figure if I could find the answer, some horror movie buffs should know. I can't remember much about the plot only except this couple(or family?) moves into this house with these little creatures( that almost look like E.T. in the face) in the house.
