Another fabulous thing about this film, is the inability of any detractors to find any cinematic fault within it - such is the impeccable acting, unique photography, superbly paced gradual social breakdown and truly effective post-production sound engineering.
Turning to the improbabilities there might be in the script, there have been arguments about "what they should have/could have done"... but these are really grasping at straws since there can be no perfect portrayal of such a progressively unexplainable situation.
"I didn't like it/it was boring/it was shit" with little more in the way of consideration or rational insight is a testament to its power and importance in contemporary cinema.
