slasherman, I'm not sure what you were talking about in the first thing you said, I may, however try exploring the second option.

Shanks, I don't think it's the dvds in question, I buy the publication regularly and as far as I know nothing's changed...to add to that theory, I also tried some of the old dvds from the same publication, and they won't work anymore either.
I keep getting the same message, regardless of what drive I put these dvds into, when I try to run them via the autorun option from My Computer,
E:\ is not a valid Win32 Application
OR
D:\ is not a valid Win32 Application
One is a dvd player, the other a dvd burner.
If I go in a little more manually, and explore the disk, none of the applications work, I get similar messages.
To add to all this, I dunno what the fuck's happened, but now no OTHER dvds/pc cds are running, when I open the pc cds, and execute, nothing whatsoever happens.
I have already tried a system restore past the point that I last successfully installed a game from a dvd, yet the same shit happens...so, what now?
