Supposedly, the traumatic event he saw that set everything off was sitting by his uncle when his aunt started bitching, and because he didnt want to hear it anymore, his uncle just pointed a gun at her and shot her in the face. I think richard was 10 or 11 at the time. Very very fucked up human being.
