This holiday season, I also contributed to good cheer by writing the short story below. It is not a happy story, in fact it is rather grim, but there is much insightful philosophical content that may help those who are dealing with an emotional crisis like heartache. The story follows directly:

"HOOTIE'S LITTLE RAT CHRISTMAS" by filmmaker2
Hootie is a lonely little rat on Christmas eve, so he goes into the kitchen and makes a gingerbread cake batter and then he calls Mr. Rat and Mrs. Frog and asks if they can come over and have supper with him but they say "NO" so he digs in the earth and invites a number of small bugs into his home to share the ginger cake but they get drunk and trash the place and take all his DVDs. That is my Christmas story, Thank You!!
