I've mentioned this before, but I think (in the States, at least) that it all goes back to Puritanism, the most deadly and inhuman system of belief that ever existed. Our society's strict and moralistic view of sex and nudity can all be laid at the feet of these witch-hunters. It's an influence that we apparently can't escape, four hundred years later.

Great point. I used to think that in other countries, all of the "too hot for TV" stuff was a joke, but nope, it's real. They really do have naked people on regular TV in some other countires, and it's just a normal thing to them, which it should be....but here it's "shocking" and "too hot for TV". This country has a lot of issues we need to work on.
See thats what I was mainly referring to. Why is it that people freak out, and get so offended over a naked (not in a pornographic way) on TV, or in pictures? They want to cover their childrens eyes, and start protests, and sue people over shit like this. People make a big deal about a perfectly natural thing...to me it's just like making a big deal about a tree (I dont know if that makes sense...?)
The thing about "you can't be too careful" about the children stuff I can understand...there are definitely some sick fucks out there we gotta watch out for, but not everything should be taken that way...such as a parent in the bathtub with their baby. Can you imagine getting your child taken away from you for something like that? It happens.
