There are conflicting reports about the nature of approach used by the reporter - from "merely" filming her 9 year old son, to interogating him about his mother's fame - but Ms Bjork obviously decided enough was enough and lashed out (apparently she later sent the reporter flowers and apologised for being over the top).
But either way her reaction was far less reprehensible than that of Elton John, whose seething, snarling remarks about "pigs!" upon landing in a different Asian country a few years ago brought his manner and reputation down more than Bjork's.
