I am a big Lovecraft fan as well. Although recently my taste in reading material has strayed more toward fantasy, I always love to visit the Old Man From Providence. Speaking of film adaptations, have you seen From Beyond, by any chance? It's also directed by Stuart Gordon, and is a fairly decent Lovecraft film, in my opinion. Good luck finding it though, as I don't think it's been released on DVD, and it may be nigh-impossible to find on VHS.
While not strictly a Lovecraft adaptation, In The Mouth of Madness is an excellent Lovecraftian film. Check it out, you won't regret it.
