Theory On Horror Fans

Studies show that the majority of hardcore horror fanatics, have at one point suffered something to cause Post Traumatic Stress;

and that the horror flicks they now watch regularly, work as a form of therapy.

Any thoughts?

I somewhat agree.
I always loved horror, even from a REAL young age. I can look back as far as i can remember and ive always been into it. Renting the movies from mom and pop shops..running back to my mouse to pop them in with a buddy etc.

Things were normal and happy then.

Things still are.

But i definitly had one shitty experience in life, and it seems like i now enjoy horror much more when im stressed out and in a really bad mood.

i wonder if there is any connection?
