You're right it shouldn't, but I think it does.

I like my horror gory and if I know woman directed the film, I automatically assume it will have less shot of being a gory masterpiece. I have no problems with female directors in other genres but in horror, I like it bloody, and being the more sensitive sex, women don't tend to go for that as much.

I'm sure I'm overlooking some, but off the top of my head I can't think of 1 aweome horror film directed by a woman.

That is not a knock on women. I think it'd be cool if one of you ladies actually did make a kick ass horror movie, but so far, I don't think I've seen it.
