Harems...filled with wives...one husband. The guards were eunnuchs so that they couldn't have sex with the wives.

Concubines in Asia...same thing. Get caught sleeping with the Crown Prince's brother and it's off with her head.

Europe in the Middle Ages...royal and noble men were barely discreet with their cheating. A woman, however, had better be discreet if she took a lover. However, there were some women who could pull it off...namely Elizabeth1

In certain cultures in Africa, when a girl comes of age, her clit is cut off so that she won't cheat. It doesn't really make a shit if her husband cheats.

My point, I don't hold the same exact conceptions as Dolly, but I do completely respect what she said in this thread.
