[since someone had to do it. . . .]

i woke up this morning to the sounds of my next door neighbor hauling some kind of appliance into his basement at 6am - lingered over my first cup of coffee and then headed out (to find someone had left a plastic bag of dog poop on my front step). disposed of dog poop and walked to work. got to work around 7:45 and tried to catch up on paperwork left undone from yesterday (when i spent far too much time jacking around on HDC). reflected on HDC for a bit - enjoy the banter and the feeling of human connection, but simultaneously wonder how real these 'conversations' are (a nod to Novarku's point about 'fake people' I think).

but, on the positive side, and hold your hats for this one, i have a date this weekend. (on the negative side, i have to take her to see the Sound of Music)

oh, and the fire alarm in my building has just gone off - joy. . . .
