I was pretty much raised on horror films, having seen Creepshow on my mother's lap in the theater when I was about three months old. I just left college due to a clash in personal politics and a lack of resources in my area of interest, which is how afterlife beliefs and horror have shaped our moral and cultural consciousness. I'm right now with my stepfamily and my girl in Central PA, working on my novel and trying to market my writing so we can start a better life. I came to HDC to find how horror effects people and what horror fans think about death and morality. I ended staying because I like the place.

I like your name.
Did you ever really find an answer to your question about how horror effects people?
Did you ever notice how most horror lovers(not all!)
have had tramatic things happen to them?
I think it's because we know the bad guy on screen and we know they will eventually get what they deserve...it's pure justice-something that never seems to occur in RL.
