Contamination is quite good - not least because of De Rossi's numerous messy gut-explosions, which were certainly inspired by Alien but are exciting nontheless.
As with most 80's Italian horror of this ilk, the script, direction and acting are in dire need of attention... but what a great Goblin soundtrack!
