When I was a kid, I had a german shepard/malamute named Sugar when cause her fur was quite white with some black markings. Nothing too odd about her, although she literally hated UPS trucks. Just looking at em did nothing, but when one fired up, she'd growl and wanna run after it. :D That, and uniformed people like UPS, mail delievery, meter readers.... she always sensed that somehow they were stangers. Not that she'd bite em, but she'd growl at em something fierce. :)
My dalmation Brandy, however.... that's a different story. ;) That dog would almost behave like a bratty little girl. :D And smart, too. Even at 5 weeks old, I slowly started to close the porch door, and she stared up and down, and three seconds later, she batted the door back open. She also got into things like eating a hibiscus plant (surprised it didn't kill her :) ), chewing on door frames, eating those fuzzy things that float around in the summertime. And ripping the newspaper to shreds! One day, I caught her doing it so I snuck up on her and rapped her good with a magazine. It scared her so much she never ripped another one. :D And she almost got into a plate of chocolates. 3 times I told her "no" so the 4th time she snuck around through the dining room, into the living room behind the chair. Eyeing me, watching TV, then the candy. Eyeing me, then the candy, eyeing me, then the candy, inching closer all the time, which I caught out of the corner of my eye so I yelled at her and she ran. She knows better, but still tries to get away with stuff like that. When my dad came over and heard a "plop", he was like "what the hell was that?" and went to the kitchen to investigate. Brandy bolted like greased lighting, and a whole chicken, still in the bag, which was left on the counter, was in the middle of the floor. She also likes sleeping on the furniture, although she knows she's not supposed to. Every time she heard someone, she'd hop off like she was never on it, but you could see the guilt in her eyes and the fur where she slept. She even got into a pizza. An 18 inch large that me and my dad ate which didn't settle well with either of us. We left the porch for less than 2 minutes, and inside that time, that dog literally diminished over 2/3rds of an 18 inch large with extra cheese, saugage and peperoni! She can eat food faster than most dogs 2 to 3 times her size. lol I'm kinda surprised that she's still alive. :)
