I think he means that he is offering his views in hopes that others will accept them. A tough sell, meaning his views aren't as enticing as some others may be. I also agree with Haunted.
I don't get on as often as I'd like sometimes, but I've always appreciated the spectrum of views and different posters HDC has to offer. Like a good movie, it's all about the characters. :)
