My hands shake because I take lithium, so eyeliner is a bitch. Got any easy tips for eyeliner? What type of makeup is your favorite? When I land a job, I'm going to start buying MAC. They have the coolest colors as does Urban Decay.

to be honest I just use the cheap shit, haha...All from Walgreens (I gets the employee discount, see). To me it doesn't much matter what kind of make-up it is, as long as it isn't dollar store shit, but how you put it on. Soooo, here's what I use and what I do...
I use Max Factor concealer for under my eyes, and any lil blemishes I may have at the time, blend that in really good with my ring finger(I don't know why, but it blends so much better than the more sturdy fingers, or a sponge), then I blend colorless powder all over to get rid of the shiny shit...and I use a blush called "morning glow", it's almost the same tone as my skin, it just makes my cheekbones look a lil nicer. People are always commenting on my "perfect skin" so I guess this works pretty well. I tell them it's makeup, and they don't believe me..Oh well. Most women that wear makeup put heavy foundation all over their face, but don't need it. All you gotta do is cover up the spots you have, if any. Also for the photo thing too much foundation makes your face wash/white out.
I don't wear lipstick, I can't STAND the shit..but I do get this stuff made by Sally Hansen called "lip quencer". It adds hardly any color, but makes your lips so nice and smooth...it's either that, or Burts Bee's lip balm only for me.
For the eyes I use "full and soft" mascara...I think it's Maybeline...and I take a tissue and wipe most of it off before I apply it because too much of the shit looks stupid, we all know that. I use lighter colored eye shadow because my eyes are dark, and this makes the color stand out more...
If you're having trouble with eyeliner you can try eyeshadow...thats what I do. Take the edge of your eyeshadow sponge with eyeshadow on it, and blow off any access dust that may fall on your face (that always sucks) and line your eye with that first...then get the kind of eyeliner you have to use a cigarette lighter to soften, light it, and blow on it til it's almost hard again and apply over the eyeshadow. That'll kind of make a base for it to go on, and since it's almost hard again when you apply the eyeliner, if you do slip some, it shouldn't get all over the place. That works for me, and a few other people I've explained it to.
anyway..this is what I use and what I do when I wear makeup, and what I use on other people and they're always pretty amazed at how good they look with hardly anything. To me more natural with a LIL bit of *sexyness* looks far better than dark, heavy makeup.
