Ghost Rider
FilmJerk.com reports that writer/director Mark Steven Johnson's Ghost Rider, starring Nicolas Cage, has been moved up three weeks from August 4th to July 14th, 2006.
Wes Bentley, Eva Mendes, Matt Long, Sam Elliott, Peter Fonda and Donal Logue also star in the anticipated comic book adaptation.
TV Guide caught up with Peter Fonda, who plays Mephistopheles in writer/director Mark Steven Johnson's Ghost Rider opposite Nicolas Cage. He talked about the film and here's a clip:
TVGuide.com: Did you go back and look at the comic to inform how you should play the Mephisto character?
Fonda: I had read a few of them before, but I thought regardless of what the guy who wrote the comics had designed here, it was up to me to put it on the screen. As it was, they let me play totally against part. Let me tell you, nobody has played the Devil quite like I do. Oh, man, I loved it. It was really cool.
IESB.net talked to Nicolas Cage about the Ghost Rider movie and here's a clip:
Well, he's a man who's just trying to take a negative and turn it into a positive like we all do, we have been talking about that here today together with The Weather Man, trying to take movies and do something positive with any negative feelings that I have. Johnny Blaze is a superhero who had a very horrible thing happen to him and he's taking that negative and he's trying to make something positive out of it no matter what and that's, in that way I guess you can say I am like Ghost Rider.
